By connecting talented professionals and driven young people from around the youth and supported housing sectors, we create the conditions for positive sharing of experiences, learning from each others' strengths, and creative innovation.

In the charity sector, where the funding landscape is competitive and challenging, it's easy to become protective of our ideas and practices. However, we're all stronger when we come together and work collaboratively to create a better society for young people.

We want to build a strong community of people united by a vision of young people growing in their strengths, making positive progress, and having everything they need to thrive.

Our sector-wide events bring together passionate, driven, creative, insightful people with different expertise and experience to share ideas and, as a result, deepen their practice.

The annual Room for Young People awards is open to youth organisations from all around the country. It's a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the brilliant work happening in different charities and community groups, and to connect with potential partners.

Around 14 May every year, we celebrate Advantaged Thinking Day by bringing together people who have been positively impacted by this way of working – including funders, Foyers, youth sector organisations and young people whose lives have been touched by an Advantaged Thinking service.

In 2022, we are celebrating the Foyer Federation's 30th birthday by releasing a deep-dive research report entitled Adventures in Advantaged Thinking, which will be made available digitally. Join our Adventures in Advantaged Thinking event on 13 May to discuss the report's findings, hear from inspiring speakers, and grow your own asset-based practice.

The Foyer Federation is registered in England and Wales under company number 2699839 at Work.Life, Core Building, 30 Brown Street, Manchester, M2 1DH. The charity is registered under charity number 1040482.
