Overview: 

This course aims to assist you to use Advantage Thinking to empower young people. A true Advantaged Thinking approach requires ongoing active choices in how you act, speak and listen when working with young people. Done consistently and authentically, Advantaged Thinking has the power to build positive relationships, enabling you to support young people to realise their potential.

Learning outcomes:

  • How to build proactive and trusting relationships with young people.
  • How to better empower young people to be in control of their own lives and develop a greater sense of self-agency.
  • Techniques to get the best outcomes with young people in supported accommodation.
