One person alone can inspire change, but it’s better when you work together. If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a difference in young people’s lives, get in touch. No matter how much time you have to give, we’d love the chance to put our heads together.

Currently, we are especially interested in hearing from people who have skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Marketing
  • Communications
  • Campaigning

NETWORK TRUSTEE – FOYER FEDERATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Are you an experienced member of staff working directly with young people in a Foyer environment? Do you have practical knowledge of what it’s like to work with young people who have experienced homelessness? Do you live and breathe Advantaged Thinking, and believe passionately in a positive future created for, with and by young people? We are looking for a Network Trustee to join our Board who can represent the perspectives and experiences of direct delivery staff.

This is a voluntary role that gives you an opportunity to be part of a national organisation that speaks out about issues affecting young people experiencing homelessness. It’s a fantastic time to join the charity as we begin working on our new three-year strategy, which focuses on youth leadership, quality and impact, influence, and community. As well as gaining experience at an executive and strategic level, you will increase your contacts and broaden your view of the youth and homelessness sectors while supporting the Foyer Federation to grow.

We are particularly interested in hearing from:

  • Candidates from Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic backgrounds
  • Candidates with lived experience of homelessness
  • Candidates with disabilities or learning differences
  • LGBT+ candidates
