We’re thrilled to announce that the Foyer Federation is partnering with SNG to deliver the SNG #iwill Youth Network, supporting youth organisations to grow their youth social action work.

The SNG #iwill Youth Network meetings are a place for professionals who work with young people to come together and share knowledge, have meaningful discussions and form new connections. Led by the Foyer Federation’s team, alongside inspiring guest speakers from around the sector, each meeting will equip youth organisations with new ideas, tools and approaches. Young people will also have the chance to co-facilitate and contribute to meetings, ensuring their voices are heard and valued too.

As well as facilitating the wider network, we’re also looking forward to delivering a series of Innovation Labs for the SNG #iwill Wellbeing Champions Fund partners. These workshops will provide a space to delve into common challenges, explore innovative solutions and find creative ways forward.

Kate Russell-Ellis, the Foyer Federation’s Head of Programmes and Network, said: “The Foyer Federation is very pleased to be working in partnership with SNG to support the delivery of the #iwill Youth Network this year. From our experience of facilitating a network of Foyers, we know just how powerful it can be to connect with other people who are working to make positive change with and for young people. We're looking forward to exploring inspiring ideas and practical approaches with a group of professionals keen to grow their practice and widen their network.”

Ellie Cutler, SNG’s #iwill Fund Project Officer, said: “We’re so pleased to have partnered with The Foyer Federation on such an impactful strand of The SNG #iwill Fund, our SNG #iwill Youth Network. I’m thankful to be able to facilitate such an exciting opportunity for collaborative working to further our investment into our thriving communities and demonstrate that we aren’t just awarding grants through the SNG #iwill Fund, we’re providing essential wrap-around support for our stakeholders to build sustainable youth social action projects that leave a legacy.

The new partnership builds on last year’s Innovation Lab series, delivered by the Foyer Federation for a group of SNG’s (then Sovereign's) #iwill fund partners. During the course of these six sessions, we enjoyed learning about the different projects and facilitating spaces for people to share learnings, discuss challenges and take away new things to try. We’re glad to be working with the SNG team and their network again.

The #iwill Fund is made possible thanks to £66 million joint investment from The National Lottery Community Fund and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to support young people to access high-quality social action opportunities. SNG is acting as match funder and awarding grants on behalf of the #iwill Fund.

If your service is ready to amplify its impact, and gain valuable connections and resources, you can join the movement. If you’re based in one of the localities listed, all you need to join is an interest in youth social action! If you'd like to attend and join the SNG #iwill Youth Network, all you need to do is complete this form.
