Fundraising

We are always exploring new ways in which we can help our partners to raise the bar in delivering services to young people.

We have identified a number of areas where we are looking for support to investigate particular issues or questions that we want to find solutions for. In the coming year we want to develop workstreams around:

  • Investigating the opportunities and implications for our Network of raising the participation age in education for all young people to 18 years of age. Is there scope, for example, for Foyers to become providers of education to those 16-18 year olds for whom neither school nor the workplace is an appropriate venue for learning.

  • New interventions for specific groups: care leavers, young offenders, lone parents.

  • Intergenerational programmes: how can young people be supported to break the cycle of intergenerational disadvantage?

  • Alternative transition routes for young people who are not destined for Higher Education.

  • Developing health and well-being initiatives and involving young people in shaping future health promotion and provision.

If you are interested in supporting us to develop programmes around any of these workstreams, please contact us on 020 7430 2212 or email us.
